TomTom endangers drivers by sending traffic on restricted road
Many GPS services use TomTom for vehicle navigation. They send drivers on the W Road in ***, ***.
There are at least 10 signs warning trucks not to use this road because of the hairpin turns. There is even a sign that says, YOUR GPS IS WRONG. NO TRUCK TRAFFIC. However, numerous times a week drivers put other lives in danger because the TOMTOM service routes them to this road.
There is another road about 1 mile away that is safe for the drivers to use, but TOMTOM routes them to this restricted road instead. This problem is exasperated by drivers from other countries that cannot read traffic signs and rely on their GPS to direct them.
TOMTOM needs to remove the W Road in ***, *** from their GPS maps so that these vehicles dont continue to get routed to this road. Thank you.
Preferred solution: For them to remove the W Road in Hamilton County, TN from their GPS routes before someone gets killed

I am travelling to Bulgaria and some neighboring countries. I have downloaded your Eastern European maps but do not know what countries are included. Could you please send me a list of countries in the Eastern Europe map set so I will know if I need to add others.

I can't find any address anymore
For a good few days my tomtom app doesn't show any of addresses I've try to find, and I cannot change it for truck. There's no option.
I can see CAR only.
Ive used this app every day. It has been resets few times.

Hopeless customer service
- - Live traffic stopped on the 6250 lifetime device.
- - Support via chat only; no phone or email; told to buy a new device; avoid this brand.
Having purchased our 6250 lifetime device a couple of years ago, the live traffic stopped working. After numerous chats with a computer, as they have no phone or email, it appears they have changed to working through your phone, which in turn knocks off the hands-free, useless when needed.
I was told to purchase another device (not likely; I'll go to a different brand where I can actually talk to a person and won't sell a lifetime device and then change it).
Avoid at all costs is what I'm saying. I had to give 1 star to be able to post, or it would have had none.

My GPS has guaranteed free map updates for installed maps for life.
When I connect now to my drive connect, I find that my installed maps, except ***, show expired and cannot update. This is not right. I am particularly upset that Europe and ***/*** cannot update, as I visit these areas frequently on business. I am not concerned about SE Asia or ***.
Could you please check and reinstate the above installed maps as soon as possible?

There is very little information on the Yodel delivery site other than it has been shipped. I have given 2 different tracking numbers; neither of them is recognized!!!
Very unsatisfactory service. If this item does not give me updated tracking information within 2 days, I will contact my credit card company to refund the payment to my account.

Trying to used the product I purchased, their virtual assistant is actually the worst

I purchased a 2013 Madza CX-5 Grand Touring with TomTom indash navigation, the original copy 2013 SD Card has never been updated, purchased what *** says is for my model I cant connect to my device, not even download a updated map to my pc with the SD card installed all because I can connect, support is unavailable except for virtual assistant, not even real AI, but what would have been available 20-25 years ago

Worst customer service ever
Unable to activate premium services. Customer service is repeating the same information via email.
I removed the device as instructed, and now it will not be added to my account. I am returning the device as it is useless.

New product. Put in my password for the updates, wouldnt accept it, so tried other devices, no luck.
Blocked me. Tried with forgot password, after two hours no reset e mail.
Tried customer services got. A chatbot. Totally useless, asked for tel number, said log in, typed in cannot, said input password, said I wanted to reset password, it said to log in, said I cannot, said enter password, said cannot, said log in etc etc.
have tried multiple times to reset no email to me to do it, there is NO telephone number just a bot.
There is no customer service.
I cannot contact anyone, cannot connect to internet, cannot update it. Im stuck

Recent outage of service from 04/05/2026 until now 09/05/2026
Loss of all stored locations on the MyDrive and Plan app, no update from TomTom until 4 days into the outage, with a failed fix on the 08/05 and a timeline to repair now open-ended.

They are thieves
- - Unauthorized £5.95 monthly charges via PayPal for 6-7 years.
- - Never used the service; refund denied and they asked for £1 and card details.
I have only just noticed that they have been taking £5.95 per month from my PayPal account, every month for the past 6-7 years. I have never used any of their services and ha e cancelled any further payments.
I would, however, appreciate some kind of gesture of goodwill in the form of a refund.
I have filled out a request form, only to be told I didn't qualify. They then sent me a link to talk to someone, and by talk I mean text, but required payment of £1 and my card details for this to commence

How do you know what these large trucks are using? They should be using advanced satellite navigation or at least TomTom Expert Navigation for trucking.
They should not be using the regular TomTom app which does not take into account the vehicle being driven. As far as foreign drivers/road sign reading difficulty, that is a separate issue unrelated to any navigation app.
